Original composition and performance
After years of composition and performance, Peter’s produced and self-released his debut album “Anywhere is Home” on March 18th, 2023. After this release, Peter promoted his album on a ten-date tour spanning the west coast from San Diego to Seattle. His next project “The Lake” will be professionally released throughout September 2024-2025 as a series of monthly singles meditating on joy, struggle, and a search for self-understanding.

Jazz performance
In addition to Peter’s experience at Michigan State University where he graduated with a Bachelors in Music as a Jazz Studies Major, Peter was an active part of both the New York City jazz scene 2019-2020, as well as performing out of Monterey, California from 2021-present. He has recorded with the Joseph Herbst Sextet for their debut album “This is Our Environment”, as well as touring with the ensemble in Michigan, North Carolina, and South Carolina. In that time he was worked with artists such as Benny Bennack III, Tony Glausi, Luther Allison, Liany Mateo, Richard Cortez and more.

“The Apocalypse is Easier to Imagine”
The suite this song from is entitled “from the shadows” and explores themes of hope, toxic positivity, and imagination. This project originated as an alternative means of creating music with this band in lieu of an in person tour. We recorded are parts from are own homes, piecing them together in the video that you now see. The piece is one 38-minute long composition with individual sections that you can find below.
